Theme: Documents that Changed History
Date: Wednesday, October 21; 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Be sure not to miss presentations about U.S. Indian Policy (Dr. Dan Usner, Vanderbilt), the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights (First Amendment Center), and Brown v Board and school desegregation in Tennessee (John Egerton, Nashville Public Library Civil Rights Room, and TN State Library & Archives).

Registration: $60 for members; $75 for non members (Registration deadline: October 16, 2009)
Registration fee includes: conference registration, Freedom Sings performance and program, & teaching resources; also includes TN History Teacher of the Year awards ceremony, TNCHE membership, NCHE membership (for new members only): free booklets, subscription to Magazine of History;
